Crussh announces partnership with SSP Group, the food travel experts

Crussh, the Fit Food & Juice specialists have announced a franchise partnership with SSP, a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide.

The deal will see the London-born brand expand and enter transport hubs across the UK and Europe over coming years.

The first site is due to open in May 2018 at London Paddington station, with a pipeline of additional outlets under discussion.

The new sites will stay true to the Crussh Fit Food & Juice Bars classic menu, offering freshly made juices, smoothies, salads, wraps, hot food, and organic coffee.

News of the announcement comes hot on the heels of a busy 2017 for Crussh, in which they opened new London-based sites in partnership with Sainsbury’s, Debenhams and Everyone Active.

Shane Kavanagh, CEO, Crussh, comments: “We are hugely excited about working with SSP given their expertise and excellent track record and the opportunity to bring our brand of healthy fit food-to-go into travel rail and air locations for the first time. Paddington is the perfect place to start, and we can’t wait to get going. The last 18 months have seen us refresh the brand, develop new store formats and refurbish much of our high street estate, as well as begin some exciting partnerships with Sainsbury’s, Everyone Active and Debenhams. It’s our 20th year, and this deal is the perfect way to mark the occasion.”

Simon Smith CEO of SSP UK was similarly enthusiastic about the new venture: “One of the ways we delight rail and air passengers across the world, is by working with some of the most innovative and on-trend brands. Crussh definitely falls into that category, and it will be the ideal complement to the mix of brands at Paddington. We have been instrumental in introducing some great names to the travel environment, and we are thrilled to be adding Crussh to our portfolio.”
