SSP UK adds on-trend premium frozen yogurt brand Snog to its portfolio

SSP, a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide, has joined forces with Snog to offer a selection of frozen yogurt alongside its Millie’s Cookies store at West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton.

The new shop offers customers four yogurt flavours – original and chocolate plus two seasonal favourites.

A Snog is made with fat-free yogurt, sweetened with agave nectar to give it its signature refreshing taste. Each can be customised by choosing from a selection of toppings, including freshly prepared strawberries, poppy passion fruit, crunchy granola, gluten free chocolate fudge brownies and a range of different types of chocolates.

Simon Smith, CEO of SSP UK and Ireland said that frozen yogurt is very much in fashion at the moment, and the addition of a frozen yogurt range will enable SSP to meet the demands of a culinary trend, as well as offering customers wider choice. “One of the reasons we chose to partner with Snog is because we believe it really is an excellent yogurt and it stands out in the market. With its distinctive personality and strong product range, Snog is the ideal complement to our Millie’s Cookies brand.”

Anna Ghee, CEO of Snog, is similarly enthusiastic about the new collaboration: “We’re thrilled to be launching this partnership with SSP and excited that it gives everyone in West Quay Southampton the opportunity to enjoy Snog while they shop. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with SSP.”

The brand currently operates in ten locations in the UK, including Soho, Covent Garden, South Kensington and Westfield (White City). Snog also has a range of frozen yogurt tubs that can be purchased in the freezer isle at leading supermarkets and the brand has won a number of awards, including the prestigious Coolbrand Award. Snog is a cool brand with a British sense of humour. The memorable name, acid pink presence and positive personality is matched with a delicious product and fresh healthy thinking.
