A strategically located property close to Heathrow Airport, the Heston Centre is our flagship and allows us to offer a truly One Stop Shop Solution.
Our Heston CDU boasts 15,000 sq ft of warehousing with storage capacity for over 900 pallets to allow for nationwide logistic solutions, and is home to our RG lorry fleet.
As a distribution point, the Heston Centre has road access not only to all RG Service Centres, but also to major motorways and airports, making it an ideal gateway to Europe-wide distribution.
The site is also DfT security approved, allowing us fully serve airports, landside and airside.
The Heston Centre is also home to our 33,000 sq. ft. Central Production Unit, and boasts stringent security measures and the application of up-to-date standards and technology in security and asset protections.
Service Centres
We work closely with train companies to ensure our logistics service centres are strategically positioned in key stations and train depots, ideal for efficient delivery direct to train side.Each team is structured to reflect the specific workflow demanded of their site, with regular reviews of performance, efficiency and compliance.
Our quality accredited rail catering logistics processes are designed for every step of the pre-departure chain from Goods In right through to Train Delivery, and the reverse logistics functions of returns recycling and waste control.
Using rg-i, our integrated supply system, we receive product orders electronically, by phone through our call centres or from on-board staff visiting our units directly before train departure.Stock-on-hand is matched to the requisitions and train delivery is undertaken in line with the live departure schedules.
