Learning and development is an important part of what we offer our teams here at RG.
From induction training to developing in role or for promotion we offer opportunities for all our employees to succeed.
Hands on training takes place in our Service Centres but we also use Academy, our online learning portal, to deliver training in a range of topics including customer service, health and safety, GDPR and cyber security.
Academy also offers content and modules for self-directed learning. Our Academy library holds hundreds of videos and bite-size learning opportunities to improve the skills and knowledge of our RG teams.
Manager development programmes
We offer a range of internal development programmes for future Team Leaders and Managers that combine workshops; both virtual and face to face, eLearning modules, activities and reflection tasks.
This ensures we have our future leaders ready for the role whenever the opportunity arises and supports our team to grow their career at RG whilst realising their potential.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships in RG are delivered by approved external training providers.
By enrolling onto one of our apprenticeships programmes our employees can gain a nationally recognised qualification. Furthermore, they develop skills and knowledge to support their career development within our business and the industry. With no cost this is a great way to earn whilst you learn!
Apprenticeships available at RG range from Level 2 Customer Service up to the Degree Level 7 apprenticeships, including MBA.
